Penalties for Demerit Points?
G Licence Drivers
- 2 to 8 points: You will be sent a warning letter.
- 9 to 14 points: You may be requested to attend an interview with the MTO where you licence may be suspended. The Fee for the interview is $50.00.
- 15+ points: Your licence will be suspended for 30 days.
Novice Drivers: G1, G2, M1, M2, M1-L or M2
- 2 to 5 points: You will be sent a warning letter.
- 4 demerit points: Automatic 30 day suspension
- 6 to 8 points: You may be requested to attend an interview with the MTO where you licence may be suspended. The Fee for the interview is $50.00
- 9 or more points: Your licence will be suspended for 60 days.
